Let's work together to build a brighter future
“Our systems are over-complicated and no longer make sense; they are built on archaic structures and based on narrow-minded oppressive perspectives and motivations. We need to be brave enough to acknowledge this truth and commit to dismantling these old structures and then together organize ourselves from a community development, ground-up approach, based on a foundation of genuine care for one another.”
- Kelly Robinson
Throughout her almost thirty-year career, Kelly Robinson has developed a breadth of knowledge and expertise in boosting performance and inspiring teams across health and human service sectors.
With a background in social work, Kelly has worked the front line and led teams and organizations at local, regional, and provincial levels. She is seasoned in her ability to shift between seeing circumstances from an ‘on the ground’ front-line perspective, to the more strategic, systemic bird’s eye view.
Kelly leads with compassion and curiosity. She is strength-based and motivational in her facilitation style, allowing individuals, leaders and teams to achieve their goals while bringing out their best selves.
She has a knack for gently challenging assumptions or perceptions without judgment, or criticism, but with a presence of curiosity and kindness. These qualities allow for safe inter-relational expression and meaningful dialogue leading to empowered individuals and a reservoir of good-will in teams; ultimately resulting in a common understanding, a shared purpose, and a sense of belonging in the organizational community.
Our Values
Proven Accountability and Results in areas of Operational Excellence, Leadership and Culture.
Supported and co-facilitated long-term changes from a medical model Primary Care Service delivery system to a more person and community-centred integrated, team-based system which considered factors such as adverse childhood experiences, social conditions and their impact on one’s health and wellness.
Modelled and promoted a culture and code of conduct whereby team members held one another to a high standard of fairness, inclusivity, transparency and openness. This allowed for exemplary service delivery while also creating an environment where team members felt joy at work.
Advanced the anti-racism and anti-oppression agenda by adding an equity lens to all operational business, from strategic planning to policy review, to performance management. Led the Cultural Safety Committee with a robust work plan to demonstrate action toward an increased sense of inclusivity for those who are diverse and marginalized.
Used a quality and health equity approach to co-design an integrated, data-driven, inter-disciplinary team-based system to support primary care physicians in the region
Co-facilitated relationships with innovative, forward-thinking partners to advance the priorities of the region, and the Ontario Health Teams mandate - all with an integrated care agenda.
